Free @ Last TV was founded in 2000 by a group of like-minded, multi-skilled creatives to make first-class television programmes in an inventive and innovative environment. The founders of the company brought a wealth of experience gained through years of employment at other institutions including the BBC, ITV, the British Film Institute, City University and a variety of independent production companies.

BARRY RYAN
Managing Director, Executive Producer & Creative Director
As founder of Free @ Last Television, Barry Ryan has a track record in innovative television across a multiplicity of programme styles and genres. A BBC Production trainee between 1994 and 1996 he worked across all BBC departments, finding his home as a Senior Producer in Music & Entertainment. A move into the independent arena garnered Ryan a range of production awards and gave him the inspiration to form Free @ Last TV. Free of boundaries, Barry will never flinch at a challenge, allowing the company to flourish across many genres.

KATIE KINNAIRD
Series Producer & Director
As a former BBC Producer with over 17 years experience in television production across genres including drama, entertainment, factual, music, children's and presentation, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and passion to all projects irrespective of size or budget. As a partner in Free @ Last TV, she takes a fully rounded approach to all the many roles that must be played and has a proven record of being able to easily, and readily, turn her hand to even the most challenging of projects.

DAVID A WALTON MA Dip IPD, Dip ITD
Producer & Director
David A Walton is a former British Film Institute senior manager who specialised in Training and Development. Making a move from the world of film to that of television, David worked in the independent television sector as both a Director and Producer which led to his becoming a founding partner in Free @ Last TV. He has worked across much of the company's output and is also finance director.

VEERINDER MANN
Producer & Director
Veerinder's television life began when she worked in the Equal Opportunities Department at the BBC. A temporary move into production proved addictive and she never looked back. After working on a wealth of productions in both the Music and Documentary departments at the BBC, a leap into the independent world in the late 90's led, via a variety of productions, to the early doors of Free @ Last. Since then, Veerinder has produced and directed several programmes across the genre spectrum of Free @ Last TV.
