    
And get them out we did. We showed you our hits every day, twice a day for 105 days in the company of the luscious Lauren Laverne and the meaty manass Matt Brown. Each day the show was a combination of tracks from the Play UK playlist with a couple of our own selections thrown in for good measure along with reviews from Joe Public on the street and comedy vignettes written by the original Popbitch and former Sunday Show hostess Jenny Ross.
LAUREN LAVERNE - presenter
Once the lead minstrel in minxacious poptet Kenickie Lauren Laverne is no stranger to either Play UK or pop TV. Lauren presented her own show THE ALPHABET SHOW with comedian and raconteur Christopher Addison on Play when it launched back in 1997. In addition to waxing lyrical on I Love. and Top ten. Lauren joined the presenting team of Channel 4's Planet Pop at the tail end of 1999 and took the kiddie-pop magazine programme into the new millennium with an her edgy and irreverent take on pop culture. Lauren has gone from strength to strength since GYHO came off air - hosting her own series of quiz shows on E4 Fanorama, a short-lived series on C5 called Pop and is currently the co-host on BBC'3 flagship show Johnny Vaughan Tonight.
