David Walton – a former British Film Institute senior
manager who specialised in Training and Development subsequently
worked in the independent television sector as both a Director
and Producer. Along-side this work he has developed ideas
and proposals for a range of media distribution outlets. Previous
successful proposals include; Stepping Out an ITV drama
documentary, the RTS awarding winning factual entertainment programme
The Dogs Balearics in conjunction with Barry Ryan and
Revisiting Brideshead for ITV3 .
Earlier career highlights include Freelance Consultant for the
Media and Creative Industries working in close conjunction with
City University on a number of high profile projects, Director
of million pound plus 'Digital Arts Centre' Tottenham, North London
and Community Arts Project Manager in South East London.
As part of the Free@Last TV collective he has Directed and Produced
number of the companies productions including as Director - Sex,
Drugs and Ruck 'N' Roll, NU, Get Your Hits Out for
Play UK. Assistant Producer/Director for Rock'N'Roll Myths
for Channel 4 and The Spider Man Story for Channel Five
and Producer/Director for Blackadder@20,Vicar Dibley@10
for UKTV Gold while most recently he Produced and Directed the
hour documentary Revisiting Brideshead for ITV3.
He is looking forward to working with Pamela Anderson on a documentary
for the Paramount Comedy Channel in 2006.
