ITV3 goes under the covers of the classic television detectives and examines their literary backgrounds, their methods and techniques of investigation and their translation to television. Each of the programmes features interviews with experts in the genre from the original authors to the cast and crew of the programmes that were based on them as well as crime writers, fans, criminologists and literary experts.
