Free@Last TV

Free@Last TV is an independent scripted television production company established in 2001 in London. We have produced over 500 hours of television for a range of broadcasters including the BBC, ITV, Sky, UKTV and Channel 4, across a range of genres. Our flagship drama Agatha Raisin first broadcast as a one off Christmas special on Sky One Boxing Day 2014 before being picked up to series airing in 2016. Free@Last TV has a broad range of dramas on our slate including biopics (Lonely Boy - The Benny Hill Story), prequels (First Frost) and original content (Deadbeat Dads) alongside our collection of intellectual properties such as Daphne du Maurier’s The Flight of the Falcon, Perlman - based on the Glasgow novels by Campbell Armstrong, and the Classic Crime Club book series published by HarperCollins. BARRY RYAN

MD & Creative Director

Barry has over 25 years experience as a content creator, journalist, broadcast journalist and TV producer and director. He was a BBC Trainee and worked across a variety of genres including Factual, Factual Entertainment, Children's, Music & Entertainment and Documentaries & History, Science, Features, Entertainment and Arts. He has worked for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. He was Head of Programmes at Propeller TV - bi-national and bi-lingual TV channel for the international Chinese that broadcasts on Sky, Freeview and online in Europe and in China. He has worked as a consultant for Shalit Global, Sony Music, the MOBO Organisation and Sainsburys. He has produced prime time programming for ITV, BBC, Channel 4, Five and a range of digital channels including A&E, Discovery, UKTV channels, MTV, VH1, ITV 2, 3 & 4 and many others.

DAVID A WALTON

MA Dip IPD, Dip ITD

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER & HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT

David worked at the British Film Institute and also holds an MA in Cinema & Television from the University of Amsterdam. He was Head of Development at Straight TV and a founder of Free@Last TV. David has initiated many of the company's commissions and produced and directed shows including Nu Music, Revisiting Brideshead, Sex, Drugs & Ruck N' Roll, Park Life Weekender and The Flash Gordon Story. David is joint executive producer of Agatha Raisin for Sky One and is responsible for sourcing and developing drama content for the company.
